GN Law Mental Health Law Paralegal Recruitment Day
We will be holding 1 assessment day, 8th June (15th June now full) at our North Finchley Offices to recruit for our next intake of Mental Health Paralegals – all paralegals (if eligible) will have the opportunity to seek a training contract with us, as and when such a position becomes available.
Our Mental Health Teams are based in North London and Tring and see clients across the UK; we will be recruiting for both offices.
The day will run from 9.30am to 4pm. Lunch will be provided.
Mental Health at GN Law
We have sought to establish ourselves as one of the leading providers in Mental Health Law. Over the years we have represented thousands of people detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 and have assisted many of them with securing their liberty or improving the conditions under which they are detained.
We have successfully appealed cases on points of law to the Upper Tribunal as well as through the appeal Courts including the Supreme Court; we currently hold a Legal Aid Agency Independent Peer Review rating of Excellence (1); this is the highest rating possible and is attributed to firms whose work has been found to demonstrate a very high degree of competence.
None of this would be possible without highly able and committed paralegals; many of whom have started as paralegals with us, secured training contracts and qualified into the department and become Law Society Accredited Mental Health Advocates as well as Legal Aid Agency Supervisors. Equally, those who have chosen to spread their wings on, or after qualification, have gone on to play leading roles in organisations such as MIND, The Howard League for Penal Reform, The Office of the Official Solicitor as well as highly regarded human rights driven law firms.
